EJ's #Anime and #Manga #Drawings

My son's interests come in waves.  Sometimes, something would trigger his  interest in arts and he would start drawing and doodling.  The anime shows he watches inspired him to start drawing his favorite anime characters.    I think they are really good  but he thinks he isn't  good in arts like his sister does but as an avid supporter of my kids, they are equally talented.  Our son just need to be  inspired and  guided in order for him to do the things that he can.  Here are some of the manga series anime characters that he drew.   Your feedback will make our little guy happy and it might inspire him to continue.
Eren Jaeger, Levi Ackerman, Mikasa Ackerman - Attack on Titan
Asuna Yuuki - Sword Art Online
Natsu Dragneel - Fairy Tail
Saitama - One Punch Man
Natsu Dragneel - Fairy Tail
Vegeta Breigh - Dragon Ball Series

Music and Arts Supplies for 2017

I saw my daughter's wish list for Christmas  so that's what we got for her.  I am glad that "Santa " is no longer a secret  now, they can tell exactly what they want for gifts.  Along with other gifts, Rye Bean has a new set of  colored pencil.  She go through this  very fast so we got her a new set.
She also wanted  a Doodle  Chaos coloring book.  She have so much fun coloring very little character in this book.  One page takes a long time to finish that's why she loves it because it keeps her  mind  occupied.
She  is very inspired by the creator of this  doodle chaos, he is a young Filipino.  She wishes she could create something like this.
She love to read so I got her some new books .  This is a series so  it would take time before she could finish it.
She love to read  before she sleeps so I thought this Kandle flex  was a great accessory for the books sh e has,  This way, she can read her books in bed without the  bright light in the room.
According to her, the best gift that she received is the violin.  She has been planning to take  a violin lesson so we got her one.  Unlike trx cymbals, the violin and piano will not give me a migraine as the sound very soothing.  We are still looking for a  violin teacher in the area so  she could start taking lessons.  Meanwhile, I told her to  watch some YouTube videos maybe she can pick something to start  with.

Car Parts made into Arts

Last September, we went to the  state park near our area and  along the way, I saw this house with very interesting arts pieces outside  their  front yard.  I  asked my husband to pull over  so I can take  some photos.
From what I see, these   beautiful art pieces  seems to be made  from  car parts like tires and the metal  parts.
Whoever made these art pieces is really artistic.  This should be preserve in  a museum  or something because they are beautifully made.
I was a little  scared  when I took the photos because  the owner might come out and chew me out lol.  But glad I did because  these  are really pretty in my opinion.  What a creative way to  use  car parts.
My favorite of all is the horse, the size is like that of a real horse.  What do you think?  Pretty cool and creative  huh?

Those Bullies Butter Stop

When our daughter submitted her entry to the Ant-Bullying poster contest, she didn't think she would win because she said that all her classmates have really good ideas.  So she  was  pleasantly surprised that she won.
There were  other four entries from her class that were chosen as runners up.   Their entries were below:
For her entry, she  combined her passion for arts and baking into  one idea and it turned out well.  I told her that maybe, some of the judges have sweet tooth  so they chose your entry lol.
She's very happy she won as she get  the $100 price.  She has been saving her money because she wants to decorate her own room and she said that she will buy  the things that she need with her own money.

Girligami and Art Supplies

I got this  origami kit for my daughter last Christmas.  She loves doing stuff like this. This  Girligami kit is awesome because she gets to  make  girly things.  She has more patience that her brother so this type of  things  really suits her interests.
She made this butterfly and she also made a shoe but I couldn't find where she put it.
Santa also got her  these materials which she really  likes.  She watches videos on youtube on how to draw faces  but now that she has  this book, she can just  red  and draw.
I showed her a photo that I shared on Facebook and  told her that it would be beautiful if she can draw it.  She told me that sh would try it.

She also love this quote by George Santayana "The Earth has music for those who listen".
This is what she  came out with.  She did it while waiting for the ball to drop on new year's eve.

Artist Premier Set Art KIt: Thanks Santa!

EJ has been very good this year so Santa  have rewarded him for that!. He wish for an art kit that he could call his own because she borrowed  stuff from his sister whenever he wanted to draw something.  I am glad that Santa brought him these.  He was delighted to see it!
One of his gazillion Christmas list is to have his own "professional" art kit and his wish came true.  Great job Santa!
He also got different kinds of pencil for sketching.
I arranged  all of it  at his Avengers Vault that he got for his birthday.
He told us "I feel like an artist now that I have my own set!"
Here is the very first   sketch he did.  He wasn't  satisfied of this but I thought he did a great job.  I am  my children's number one fun so I am always biased lol.
I love  gifts like this because it really spark the children's artistic creativity.

Putting Back Creativity to Work

I miss my kids creativity  when they  are so busy playing games on their iPod.  I took away their iPods for  now  because I want them to go back to  doing other things that  ignites their creativity.  Those games can be very addictive  so it is best to limit their time for it.
As soon as I put their iPods away,  they  get to do things that they neglect to do when their faces are buried on the screen.  Although I like the  silence when they are playing  in their gadgets but it is taking away  their creativity.  So putting away their gadgets is a great option to  get their creativity back.

Random Sketches: A Girl and a Man

These are some random sketches that Rylie did to ease her boredom.  She isn't happy of the result but I think it is.  Well, what can I say I am a big fan!  I don't really know how to draw so anything that my kids  draw, I love.  Imperfection is what  it makes it perfect for me!
She wants to learn how to draw   people and she gets frustrated that she can't draw the way she wants a picture to look like.  I told her to just keep practicing  so she will improve her skill.
My son is  getting into arts these days too.  I am glad that they do because that is something that I never learned how to do as a kid.

Artsy Kind of Day

My kids were a bit grumpy today so I told them to  use their energy into something  creative.  They got quiet  for a while and both of them got busy doodling some characters.  My daughter  drew these  chibi disney characters.
Ut was raining today and  cold so we couldn't go out and dpo stuff.  I am glad I told them to get creative because it is hard when they are not getting along.  My daughter is  being  so  emotional these days.  She is super sensitive and I feel bad  for my son when she is  getting mean to him.

My son also drew  these two characters.  He keep surprising us with his drawings.  I think he is slowly realizing that he too, has talent like his sister.
Both of them watches tutorial videos on youtube on how to draw stuff.  I am so glad that there is youtube.  It is so useful for a artsy kind of day like this.

Birthday Drawings

I have been mentioning how  I miss our bunny, Wubzy so in my birthday, Eykiw drew me this picture.  Thanks a lot Bean, you are so sweet and thoughtful, love you!
My son'sdrawing for my birthday is  simple but it is straight from the heart, I just love it.  It's always great when your kids find time to  make you something special on  different occasions.  Thanks a lot EJ, I love you too Anak!
They also  made something for their Tita Chris and mailed it for her birthday.
Rye Bean drew this dog and  EJ drew some type of a plant hehehe.
I know they are not the fanciest drawings but I always appreciate the effort and thoughts  that they  exert just to show how they feel for us.
I also love the fact that even though they are on school break, they keep themselves busy doing other stuff  other than just playing games.  Love these kiddos, they  are the best things that happened to me, them and my husband.  I thank God for everything everyday!
