I know they are not the fanciest drawings but I always appreciate the effort and thoughts that they exert just to show how they feel for us.
I also love the fact that even though they are on school break, they keep themselves busy doing other stuff other than just playing games. Love these kiddos, they are the best things that happened to me, them and my husband. I thank God for everything everyday!
Lately, our kids have been talking about what they want to do when they grow up. We recently visited a cavern in Hershey, PA and our daughter said that she wants to be a geologist. Our son said he wants to be surgeoin but he also wants to play like a DJ which reminds me of the dj equipment reviews I read online. It's amazing how kids as young as they are have dreams already. Our son love to sing and dance so I can totally see him using this mega bars that DJs use. I can only imagine how they would sing and dance with DJ EJ, lol.

Speaking of Flashlight, our chikldren have attended a birthday party last weekend. The teme of the party is "Tent"h as the celebrant turned ten. This was held at their home so the kids had so much fun with all the activities that they did.
The little artist wannabes have been busy at home preapring something for their Dad on Father's day. They know how much their father work so hard to provide us with a comfortable life so they want to make him feel appreciated.

A "hand-made" card, this isn't finish yet. We still have to put few more touches on it to make it more prettier.
EJ is not much of an artist but I love how this came out. I think he did a wonderful job with the colors. The palm trees need some editing but other than that, Ithink it's gorgeous!
We bought some frames at the Dollar Tree and put each of them in frames.
I hope thatwhen they are older, they would still be as sweet as they are now to us.
I am sure that my husband would absolutely love these!
Happy Gather's Day to all the Dads. I wish that my father is still around but I know that he is always looking down and smiling at me. He was my biggest supporter when I was growing up. I miss you Pa!
On May 31st, our children had their music recital at the Memorial Baptist church. The Torrance Music, the place where the kids go to for their piano lessons, always hold the annual recital there. The little mister was very nervous because it was his very first recital. He was bouncing off the wall and even used the restroom a couple of times before the program starts. Ms. Burrito is very serious with music so she makes sure to practice a lot, this was the last practice at home.
As Mommarazi, I can't let them leave without their photo taken. They are in their age now where they are starting to resits being photo shoot lol. I take the pictures anyway, I am sure that they would appreciate these photos when they are grown up and have their own families.
I planned on on letting my daughter wear a red dress to match her brother's but she didn't want to. She chose this dress instead and justwear her red high heels. I also have a rose pin and thought it would look nice as an accent to badd color to the black and white dress that she have.
EJ was wearing the red dress shirt and tuxedo pants that I got from BlackNBianco. He love to dress up but this particular day, he was anxious.
There are two parts to the recital program. The first part was guitars and special request and the second part (which they were part of) was all piano and singing. We went early because we wanted to get a good seat. The first program wasn't done yet when we arrive so we waited at the lobby area of the church.
It gave us time to have some photos (of course, lol).
Looking at these photos makes me happy and sad. I can't believe they are growing up so fast. It's hard to believe that I gave birth to two loving kids! I am blessed!
A professional photographer came and took photos before the second part of the prgram starts. I was a bit late to snap their pose but still managed to get this.
Daughter played two songs, the fairytale and Toccatinaby Kabalevsky. I am not sure why the teacher gave her two but I am glad as she did pretty well with both. It was just funny that after the first song, the audience thought she was done so they all gave her a round of applause but then she started playing the other one.

Below is EJ's performance of the Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. He's only been taking piano lessons for three months so the teacher gave him an easy song to learn.
Parents and family can put a dedication to their kids at the back of the program which is really nice. I love this music recital because there are no tickets to sell or fund raising to do in order to be able to participate in a recital. You can invite as many as you like to attend the recital.
It was getting ready to rain when the program ended so we hurried up and left. We didn't even had the time to talk to some friends.
We went to Eat N' Park to celebrate the occasion.
Our neighbor never ceased to attend our children's precious events and we are very grateful for them. My husband's family seldom attends to any of my kids events even if we invite them and it makes me sad. I wish my family is here, they will sure atend to this kind of events for my kids.
I understand now why, even though we didn't really like this house when we were looking at it, we bought it anyway. I think God purposely situated us here because we have great neighbors who treats us like family.
Well, that's another precious memories for my children. We will continue to support their music interest as long as they want it. Music is a beautiful thing.

Daughter tried to sketch a Manga Character or anime character and she did not like how ut turned out. I on the otherside thinks that it is good. I wish there's an effective way to tell my daughter that she can't do a thing perfectly in one try. Wghen I tell her to practice, she would just give up on it., sigh.
What do you think? Any suggestions how to encourage little ,imds to continue practicing?
While we were dropping off our son to his piano lessons yesterday, he said "I think it is more enjoyabe to sing than play piano". So, I am thinking that it would be beneficial if we could enroll him a voice lesson. He enjoys singing more than playing piano anyway. Here he is practicing Old McDonald song.
Like any other music instruments, there are different kinds of trombones. Do you know what trombone to buy? The 3 main types of trombones are straight tenor, trigger-type tenor which is also known as F-rotor or F-attachment, and bass trombones. I guess students need a student trombone, I am not sure what the intermidiate is for, and the professional uses the Pro rombones of course.
