Fairy Tale

My kids practices piano at home. They take lessons every Friday for 30 minutes each and they practice at home for ten minutes just about everyday. Our daughter practices at home a lot but out son is still not quite there. He would practice but that's because I make him lol.  Here is  Ms. Burrito practicing Fairy Tale, this would be one of her recital song this year.  We were laughing at this video as she keep messing up lol.

  

Anyway, I was  browsing for some  music instruments online and came across an article on how to hang guitar on wall.  I wish I still have the guitar that hubby and I  bought when we went to our honeymoon in Cebu.  I left it at home  when I  came here hoping that I would be able to  get it when I returned but someone borrowed it from my Mom and ruined it.  

Simple Sketches as Valentine Treats for Friends

My daughter did not want to give candies for Valentine's day  to her friends.  She asked them what their favorite animals or things are and tried to draw  them.  She got a blister on her  palm  last night and I hope that her classmate/friends  appreciates them. I told  her not to get upset if she see some on  put her drawing on the trash because  she can't expect everyone to like  personalized stuff.  

Anyway, here are the drawings she made for her classmates.

Music Instruments at Home

We got our  piano  through the used deals section of the store where we bought it.  There were so many  to choose from and the kids had so much fun trying so many of it.  We figured that  the  traditional piano is the way for the kids to start learning how to play and the  teacher from the  music store agreed.

We ended up  getting the Wurlitzer.  We also love the Kimball but our daughter said  she like the feel and sound of the of the Wurlitzer.

Buying the piano is  one of the good investments that we did for our kids.  Both of them are now taking piano lessons that's why "Santa" decided to get the  keyboard for them  last Christmas.  Below are some of  videos of my daughter trying on the   keyboard for the first time.

Music Notes

I bought two  music-themed scarves during the  Secret Santa Shopping that I planned to give to my daughter on Christmas.  Then she accidentally discovered my stack in the  closet and asked if she can give one of the scarves to her music  teacher.  She said that it would go perfectly with the necklace she bought for her teacher with a music note as a pendant.

 She is not a scarf-type of girl so we  ended up using the scarf to cover her keyboard.

I would like to find more of this scarf so I can  make the  cover of her keyboard a lot wider.
